Fulkers Bailey Russell’s Net-Zero Targets Recognised By SBTi

Fulkers Bailey Russell (Fulkers) are thrilled to share that our Net-Zero targets have been recognised by Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)!

Our Net-Zero targets can be found on SBTi’s target dashboard here, as well as on their partner website here!

This achievement further validates our long-standing commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. Fulkers continue to use business as a force for good and are committed to making a positive impact in all that we do.

Our 2023 Impact Report

Fulkers Bailey Russell (Fulkers) are delighted to share our first-ever Impact Report, a document reflecting our work in 2023 across the five pillars of B Corp: Customers, Governance, Community, Environmental and Workers.  

Highlights include: 
🌿 Tracking our carbon emissions and setting our net zero target for 2035 
🌿 Increased benefits with the roll out of new electric car scheme and healthcare
🌿 New policies for waste reduction and environmental impact
🌿 Our score cards for both EcoVadis and B-Corp demonstrating our commitment to both accreditations
🌿 Improvements in our governance processes, ensuring access to guidance and processes are in place with the inclusion of sustainability  
🌿 Roll out of charity days for all staff and the increased commitment to support local communities and charities with pro bono works 

At Fulkers we recognise that the industry we work in plays a large contribution to environmental impact, we understand that we are at the beginning of our B Corp UK journey, but we are focused on striving to improve and grow as a company to make a positive impact on our society and the environment we live in.

Fulkers Bailey Russell (Fulkers) Awarded Prestigious Silver Rating from EcoVadis

We are proud to share that we have been awarded the prestigious Silver Rating from EcoVadis in recognition of our commitment to sustainable business practices. The Silver Medal places Fulkers in the top 25% of all assessed companies. The rating validates and demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and supports our company goal to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2035.

Carbon Reduction Plan 22/23

This is the second time that Fulkers has calculated and reported its carbon emissions and upon review of the data from 21/22 and 22/23 we can see that the total carbon emissions have increased, however this is relative to the increase in turnover. Based on the increase in turnover the carbon intensity has decreased in 22/23.

At the beginning of October 2023 we were thrilled to announce that Fulkers had achieved B-Corp status! B Corps are businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We are proud to join a community of over 4,000 businesses around the world that are committed to balancing purpose and profit.

Becoming a Certified B Corporation is a huge achievement for our company. It is a validation of our long-standing commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. It is also a challenge to continue to improve our performance and to hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards.

We are grateful to our employees, clients and suppliers for their support in helping us to achieve this certification.
