The STEAM Development at Lambeth College in London provides a further education teaching building for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. The projects involved the consolidation and upgrade of Lambeth College’s existing campus in Clapham, to a newly developed campus in Vauxhall.

Later acquired by London South Bank University, the additional 10,000 m² STEAM centre at Lambeth College will feed into the University. Both faculties offering courses in construction, engineering, electrics, plumbing, brickwork, science, dental, ICT, computing, mathematics and English.

The commercial aspects of the project were managed successfully, and the project was completed within the client’s budget. Our performance on the project has also led to us winning the next stage of the scheme, which is
“Block B” an 8 storey 7,000 m² block consisting of a reception, gym, cafe, staff rooms and innovation centre focused on delivering health sciences, sports, early years, blue light and other public services.
