Fulkers Bailey Russell has undertaken numerous projects for the LSE including small, fast-tract projects in occupied premises, and, under previous employment, the award winning Saw Swee Hock Centre. Regularly acting as lead consultant, we have provided all services both collectively and individually to the LSE.
Some projects examples are:
- £25m Saw Swee Hock Centre, for which we were appointed to deliver a new expansion project for the LSE, advising them throughout their innovative architectural competition process through to agreement of the final account
- £1.5m Parish Hall refurbishment. The building is in the Lincoln Inn Fields conservation area and was completed within the allocated gross budget. It is a key building set adjacent to the SSHC and within the heart of the LSE ‘Campus’
- £900k Cowdray House refurbishment of the offices and circulation spaces within this Grade II listed building, including the upgrade of toilets and kitchens. The project has been undertaken in several phases to ensure a continued live environment
- £300k provision of a library archive department in Cowdray House, and creation of a new directors office suite; additionally, building surveying services for The Aldwych in central London
- £2m resurfacing of roads, adaptions to the pavements and enhancement of spaces around LSE campus
- £300k external condition survey of Rosebery Hall Student Residential Accommodation
- £300k refurbishment of the first floor office and finance department in Columbia House
