As members of King’s College London’s framework, Fulkers Bailey Russell has been involved with multiple projects across the university’s sites.

We are currently serving our third consecutive term on the framework, a testament to the value that the university place on our services. We regularly act as lead consultant on projects, managing multidisciplinary teams as well as the briefing requirements of multiple stakeholders. The majority of the projects on the framework have been completed on occupied campus sites in central London, where segregation, health and safety and client business continuity is of paramount importance. Key projects for KCL have included:

• £4m internal alterations and repair of Grade II listed Law Building on The Strand
• £2.2m refurbishment of five medical research laboratories for a new medical school
• £1.5m refurbishment and alteration of St. Thomas House to create a new Clinical Skills Teaching department for surgeons, doctors and nurses studying at St. Thomas’s Hospital
• £135m master planning and study for KCL to assess their current and future student accommodation strategy, relating phased refurbishment works and new build projects to increase 1,200 beds to 1,500 over a five-year period. This included researching local competition and calculating payback timescales
