The Equality Act 2010 is designed to ensure equal treatment and protection from discrimination for all individuals, regardless of their background or characteristics. It prompts service providers to provide access for the less able and all individuals who are disabled. We help our clients meet the reasonable adjustments required to ensure that their environments are inclusive and do not discriminate.
We recognise the importance of providing an inclusive environment and that disability is not confined to people within a wheelchair but also extends to people who are infirm and/or have other physical, sensory and mental needs. Therefore, it is not only important to consider access into the building, but also to create an internal accessible environment throughout the building. We provide advice on fully accessible environments and provide Access Audits as a specialist service.
