Fulkers Bailey Russell (Fulkers) have maintained a long standing working relationship with the University of Brighton, having supported on a diverse portfolio of projects in a multi-disciplinary capacity. We are currently appointed to manage the delivery of the University’s “Big Build” Masterplan on the Moulsecoomb campus, approximately two miles out of the city centre.

Other key projects for the University of Brighton include:

Advanced Engineering Centre

A new cutting edge Advanced Engineering Building (AEB) on the Moulsecoomb ampus, an internationally-recognised centre with an established track record of pioneering research excellence in applied thermofluids, automotive engineering, heat transfer, sprays and two phase flows.

Elm House, Brighton Business School

A new building to house the University’s Business School, providing a stunning new ‘front door’ for the campus and a major new landmark on the Lewes Road.

Pedestrian Bridge

A new footbridge to connect the East and West sides of the campus.

Mithras Halls of Residence

Fulkers, as the University representative, supported the delivery of five residential tower to provide an additional 804 student residences and over 100 cluster kitchens. The project was a partnership between the University and student accommodation developer Uliving. The scheme also delivers a laundrette, a modern gym and a student union social bar and restaurant.

Various Internal Refurbishments

We provided multi-disciplinary services for the remodelling and refurbishment of a number of internal spaces from inception to completion, including:

  • Cockcroft Library
  • Watts Building
  • Mithras Building
