Fulkers Bailey Russell (Fulkers) have delivered a variety of projects for the University, ranging from cyclical maintenance/compliance projects, external works, general refurbishments, new builds and master-planning support.

Our work with the University includes, but is not limited to:

Surrey Sports Park, £36m

The Sports Centre, delivered by members of the Fulkers team under previous employment, was procured under a three-stage design and construct contract. The project comprised extensive indoor facilities including a 50m swimming pool, fitness centre, climbing wall, multi-use games areas, studios and a café/bar. Outdoor facilities included two all-weather sports pitches, tennis courts and associated landscaping.

School of Veterinary Medicine, £45m

The project comprised the construction and fitting-out 10,000m² of space in three buildings, designed to a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating, with associated utilities and roads infrastructure.

30 Priestley Road, £7.5m

Fulkers were asked to deliver the refurbishment and fit out of a vacant office building located at 30 Priestley Road within the Surrey Research Park, for occupation by the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, which was originally located on the University’s Main Campus at Stag Hill.
